Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

It's no painting of course, but I wanted to achieve a painterly effect, a painting like from an old master, with light and dark shadows. I placed the apples in a dark room with just a little light from a small window. Long exposure shot, whit flash from the side, edited with textures.
The shapes and colors of nature are Priska's inspiration, and she arranges still lifes which highlight the natural beauty of everyday objects. The ethereal quality of her images makes them appear delicate and haunting.
